Christie Burns, Co-director of the Folk School of Chattanooga, spoke with RE:START students and staff before the holidays last December. Christie brought her hammered dulcimer and lap dulcimer. She played holiday tunes, folk music, and her own compositions. She entertained and inspired students with her stories of teaching, performing and traveling around Europe. A few students tried their hand at playing her instruments, with Christie’s assistance. Everyone in attendance was very grateful for her presence.
Thank you, Christie!
