Testimonials

Re:Start - The Center for Adult Education has been an integral part of my life for the past six years. Literacy involves a continuum of learning that will enable people to achieve goals and become independent participants in society. Each student who comes to Re:Start stands somewhere on the path to using fully his/her fundamental resource: the human mind. It has been my privilege to be associated with the adults who have taken the time, had the drive and the courage to move further toward a full life.
Dr. Ann Swint, PhD
Re:Start Instructor, 2003-2010

Literacy is a critical component of success, whether success is defined as reading to your child or getting a job. It is woven into the fabric of everything that we do. Re:Start gives adults the opportunity to improve themselves, and the tools to be successful at what is important to them.
